Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee the operational and financial management of the residency training program under the supervision of the DME and Program Director. The role requires knowledge of national accreditation policies and hospital policies, and initiative to address a broad range of programmatic issues including long-term planning, recruitment, and workflow analysis.

Responsibilities

• Supports Program Director with office management and project status.
• Assesses workflow for cost effectiveness and suggests improvements.
• Interprets ACGME and hospital policies for compliance.
• Coordinates resident and faculty research projects; CME coordination.
• Supervises/admin support to residents/interns and liaises with hospital administration.
• Maintains databases and interfaces with MSOPI/New Innovations; tracks credentialing and licensure.
