Job summary

Care New England is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee the operational and financial aspects of its accredited residency/fellowship training programs. The role requires knowledge of national accreditation policies and hospital guidelines, plus initiative and independent judgment.

The coordinator will handle long-range planning, trainee recruitment, workflow analysis, database maintenance, and coordination with faculty, trainees and external rotations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Three or more years' experience in medical or academic settings accepted in lieu of degree.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication, financial management, computer and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and applies accrediting and hospital policies to support compliance.
• Provides administrative supervision and support to interns/residents/fellows; liaises with hospitals and departments regarding recruitment, orientation, affiliations and rotations.
• Maintains databases (New Innovations, ADS), tracks trainee licensing, contracts, certifications, credentialing and evaluations.
• Manages ERAS database processes during Residency Recruitment; assists in scheduling and coordinating exams and matches.
• Assists in budgeting, monthly financial reporting, and planning for the residency program; supports site visits and internal reviews.
