Job summary

The Program Coordinator, GME at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, MA will manage the daily operations of residency programs under the Medical Education Department, ensuring ACGME compliance. The role is initially on-site for at least three months with a possible hybrid arrangement after training.

Responsibilities include coordinating recruitment and data systems (ERAS, New Innovations), tracking duty hours and rotations, preparing reports and letters, and supporting residents and program

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Must be able to type and be comfortable using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and learning new computer programs, and have demonstrated a high level of interpersonal skills.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of relative experience working in a health care and/or hospital environment. Prior experience in managing a residency program preferred or previous administrative experience in health care environment and a demonstrated willingness to learn new responsibilities. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary contact for one or more residency programs.
• Ensures compliance with ACGME requirements for assigned programs.
• Prepares and submits information required by the ACGME, including ADS updates.
• Prepares for ACGME Site Visits, CLER visits, and related accreditation activities.
• Compiles case logs of operative procedures for residents.
• Manages Milestones and data in ACGME/New Innovations.
• Maintains ERAS and SF Match processes during recruitment.
• Tracks conference attendance and required surveys.
• Implements policies on resident duty hours and schedules.
• Prepares verification letters and training confirmations.
• Coordinates medical student rotations and observerships.
