Job summary

Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of residency and/or fellowship programs, including scheduling, recruitment, interviews, and the match process.

The role also monitors accreditation, duty hour compliance, evaluations, and trainee records, and supports program finances and marketing materials; requires strong writing, data analysis, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/GED with 1 year healthcare or educational setting experience, or Associate’s Degree.
• 1 year related experience required.
• Knowledge of program management methodologies and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of GME programs, including block scheduling, recruitment, interviews, match, and orientation.
• Counsel residents/fellows on paperwork and education training issues; interpret guidelines and identify gaps for improvements.
• Track and ensure compliance with duty hours, evaluations, licensing, moonlighting, contracts and re-credentialing.
