Job summary

Residents Medical Group seeks a Residency & Fellowship Counselor to be the front line of client relationships, guiding physician candidates through residency and fellowship options, advising on pathways, and converting inquiries into enrolled clients. You will support candidates through the engagement process and ensure accurate guidance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO doctor seeking residency
• 2+ years in counselling, admissions, or consultative sales in healthcare or education
• Strong interpersonal and active-listening skills
• Organized and CRM-fluent with reliable follow-up

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of inbound and assigned candidate leads from first contact through enrollment.
• Conduct consultative calls and meetings to understand backgrounds, visa status, and goals, mapping pathways.
• Explain RMG's services, fee structures, and PSA terms clearly.
• Hit monthly enrollment and revenue targets while maintaining accuracy and candidate trust.
• Maintain clean, current records in the CRM and hand off enrolled clients to placement/academic teams.
• Stay current on residency/fellowship cycles, the Match, ACGME pathways, and IMG immigration basics.
