Job summary

HealthyU Clinics is seeking a Core Faculty Adjunct in Family Medicine to educate residents while maintaining clinical practice in a busy outpatient setting. The role emphasizes curriculum development, learner supervision, scholarly activity, and program improvement initiatives.

The physician will supervise learners, participate in educational meetings, and uphold accreditation standards (ACGME, LCME). MD/DO with residency training and license is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated interest and/or experience in medical education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients across the lifespan in outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and standards.
• Document encounters and management plans in the EHR.
• Collaborate with the team to promote continuity and safety of patient care.
• Support curriculum development and learner supervision within the residency program.

Education

Doctorate or MD/DO

ACGME Family Medicine residency

Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine

Active medical license (state)

Active DEA registration
