Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO seeks a Residency Coordinator II to maintain the residency program content and ensure accreditation standards are met. This role supports residents' educational and practical experience by collaborating with supervisors, managers and clinical coordinators.

You will assist in scheduling, define the department's mission and goals, and help establish performance standards to drive excellence across the Family Medicine Residency SGF program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
• 1-2 years experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the residency program content and accreditation standards.
• Schedule residents in coordination with supervisors, managers and clinical coordinators.

Job Description:

The Residency Coordinator II is responsible for the maintenance of the program's content and structure such that it is sufficient to meet or exceed the standards of accreditation. This position functions to assist the resident in gaining the best educational and practical experience from the program. This position works closely with supervisors, managers and clinical coordinators to schedule. The coordinator participates in defining the department's mission, planning and goal setting, and performance standards in order to assist in leading the department to the achievement of excellence.

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: Bachelors Degree

Experience:

• Required: 1-2 years experience

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
• Proficient Computer skills
