Job summary

ACHIEVE is seeking a Residence Manager for Broome County, NY. The role oversees daily operations of multiple residential programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining regulatory standards and a safe environment for individuals served.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3 years of experience in OPWDD or a similar human services setting.
• Must physically perform required certifications and lift 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license acceptable to agency guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of residential programs with focus on quality care, safety, and compliance.
• Supervise and evaluate staff including scheduling and payroll approvals.
• Maintain staff schedules and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Ensure documentation accuracy for Life Plans, ISP/SAP, habilitation plans, notes, and billing records.
• Lead interdisciplinary meetings and communicate with families and service providers.
• Promote person-centered practices and independence for individuals served.
• Monitor compliance, address incidents, and participate in investigations as needed.
• Ensure trainings and certifications (CPR, First Aid, SCIP) are kept current.
