Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Community Center Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations for up to four community centers and supervise Community Center staff, including student employees, in a dynamic residential setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating services with campus partners, managing budgets, and ensuring inclusive, student-centered experiences. The role supports summer operations and emergency response within Residence Life.

Qualifications

• 3 years of job-related experience in residential operations, customer service, student employee supervision, community building, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in higher education or related field required; substituted with appropriate experience as allowed by policy.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating building operations in a residential setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and staffing for up to four Community Centers, including extended or 24-hour coverage as needed.
• Coordinate customer service, administrative processes, and operational initiatives to ensure student-centered service.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Community Center Leads and Community Assistants.
• Conduct weekly building walkthroughs and monitor maintenance, safety, and facility-related concerns.
• Coordinate summer conference operations and manage associated staff and logistics.
