California State University - East Bay in Hayward, CA seeks an Area Coordinator in University Housing and Residence Life. This full-time, 12-month, live-in professional role focuses on student learning and community development within a designated residential area.

The AC will manage crisis response, conduct policy enforcement, and supervise a team of resident staff while collaborating with campus partners to advance student success. Evening/weekend hours are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in student services or related field.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in behavioral sciences, admin, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Campus Security Authority and report Clery Act crimes.
• Provide case management, crisis response, and student support across community.
• Lead and supervise 1-2 Senior Resident Assistants and 11-14 Resident Assistants.
• Develop and implement the department's residential curriculum and student learning initiatives.
• Oversee housing operations, room changes, budgeting and administrative tasks.
