Job summary

The role requires on-campus living, on-call rotation, and a valid Texas driver's license, with a focus on student success and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 60 college credits completed.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong clerical, computer, and organizational skills.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Ability to exercise initiative and work independently.
• Live on campus and participate in manager-on-call rotation.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and insurability on Midland College's policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage residence hall to provide a supportive, quality living environment.
• Supervise, recruit, train, schedule, and oversee payroll for Front Desk Staff and Resident Assistants.
• Provide ongoing training, feedback, and evaluation to supervised staff.
• Create and implement educational, social, and recreational activities for students.
• Manage a hall programming budget and monitor fund usage.
• Support student success and engagement through services and referrals.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce college policies in the residence hall.
• Collaborate with housing staff and other departments to enhance the residential experience.
• Foster an inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
