Job summary

Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) invites applications for a Resettlement Supervisor in Waterloo. You will lead refugee and immigrant services, coordinate resettlement activities, employment support, and case management, ensuring timely delivery and contract compliance.

Responsibilities include planning programs, supervising staff, securing safe housing, arranging airport pickups, assisting with school enrollment and public benefits, and maintaining relationships with partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Language skills to meet clients' needs preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement refugee/resettlement programming.
• Supervise staff and ensure contract goals and reporting.
• Coordinate housing provisioning, airport pickups, school enrollment, and access to public benefits.
• Maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders for service delivery.

LSI currently seeks a Resettlement Supervisor to lead the resettlement of refugee populations, through our Refugee and Immigrant Services programs in Waterloo, including but not limited to resettlement, employment and case management.

What You'll Do

The Resettlement Supervisor plans and implements programming, coordinates core service delivery, supervises staff, ensures program goals are met, and satisfies budgetary, compliance and reporting responsibilities according to contract standards. Guide the implementation of the program and ensure all core services are completed in a timely manner including the provision of safe, sanitary, and affordable housing, airport pickups, home visits, school enrollment, domestic health assessments, and access to public benefits. Manage relationships with internal and external partners necessary for the effective delivery of services.

Service provision oversight and support may occur during normal business hours, after hours, or on weekends.

What You'll Need
