Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group is seeking a field-based professional to establish and nurture partnerships with buyers, retailers and suppliers across Northern California. You will leverage category management and space optimization to grow Reyes and retailer sales.

You will travel frequently to other Reyes branches and retailers, training staff and applying planograms with space planning software. This role offers day-1 benefits, a 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing advancement

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 175 lbs. for keg products or pallet handling.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance as required by state law.

• Establish partnerships with buyers, retailers, store owners and suppliers to grow Reyes and retailer sales.
• Use data and reporting tools to craft a retailer-specific strategy to increase sales via space optimization.
• Utilize tools and technology to support reset and merchandising activities.
• Travel to other Reyes branches and retailers to sell category management or train staff.
• Draft planograms with schematics and space planning using computer-based software to boost retail performance.
• Record store-level data, measurements, and category information using surveys and equipment.
• Travel up to 75% based on business needs.
• Take on other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• Establish partnerships with buyers, retailers, store owners and suppliers to become the preferred/trusted category partner to grow Reyes and the retailer’s sales
• Utilize full scope industry data and in-house reporting tools to develop a strategy that is unique to each retailer to grow sales through space optimization for the retailer and Reyes
• Ability to utilize tools, equipment, and technology to support reset and merchandising activities
• Travel to other Reyes branches and retailers to sell the category management process and/or train personnel
• Draft planograms that include schematics, space planning solutions and category management principles and category using computer-based space management software to enhance retail performance
• Use surveys and technical equipment to accurately record store-level data, measurements, and category information collection
• Travel up to 75% based on business needs
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• 1 plus years of related experience
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 175 lbs. when handling keg products or using pallet jacks/loading tool.
• Must have reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver license, and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
