Job summary

The Merchandiser at Core-Mark International is responsible for pricing and setting customers' stores, with travel across the state during the year. In summer, housing is provided near Yellowstone Park and you return home on weekends.

Throughout the year you will travel statewide to support the reset team, with weekends at home. The role pays $20.00 per hour and includes cell phone reimbursement or a company phone and a personal or corporate car provision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Merchandising experience of 6+ months.
• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Team player and able to work independently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotation, and cleaning at customer locations.
• Read planograms.
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems and report to Sales/Manager.
• Maintain safe store aisles.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Report hours on division time sheets.

A Brief Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for pricing and setting customers' stores. The Merchandiser reports directly to the Sales/Merchandising Manager overseeing the geographical area they service.

What You Will Do

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
• Providing excellent customer service
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at our customer locations
• Read planograms
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager when required
• Maintain safe store aisles
• Maintenance of assigned equipment
• Occasional overnight travel
• Reporting hours to division on provided time sheets

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6 + months of merchandising experience
• Experience reading & executing planograms
• Able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self -motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Driver's License
