Job summary

Core-Mark International in Utah seeks a Merchandiser to service assigned stores, read planograms, and handle merchandising, stocking, pricing, and shelf maintenance. This role requires travel to neighboring states and offers competitive pay with comprehensive benefits from Day 1.

Pay is $18.00 per hour. Mileage or cell phone reimbursement is provided, and a driver’s license is required. Residences in Missoula, Helena, or Billings are preferred for some roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience reading and executing planograms.
• Able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, candidate with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Merchandise, stock, price, and rotate products; maintain shelves and displays.
• Read planograms and arrange store shelves as required by each store.
• Monitor and report potential account problems to Sales.
• Maintain safe store aisles and equipment; perform occasional overnight travel.

A Brief Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for pricing and setting customers' stores. The Merchandiser reports directly to the Sales/Merchandising Manager overseeing the geographical area they service.

What You Will Do

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
• Provide excellent customer service
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotation, and product and shelf cleaning at our customer locations
• Read planograms
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager when required
• Maintain safe store aisles
• Maintenance of assigned equipment
• Occasional overnight travel
• Reporting hours to division on provided time sheets
