Job summary

Core-Mark International in Montana seeks a Merchandiser to price and stock customer locations, reporting to the Sales/Merchandising Manager overseeing the geographic area they service.

This role requires travel—summer housing provided by Yellowstone Park (Mon-Fri) and weekends at home; rest of year travel statewide with weekends home. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, merchandising experience, planogram reading skills, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months merchandising experience.
• Experience reading and executing planograms.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Merchandise, stock, price and shelf-clean at customer locations.
• Read planograms and arrange shelves as required.
• Monitor store issues and report to Sales/Manager when needed.
• Maintain safe store aisles and equipment.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Report hours on time sheets.

A Brief Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for pricing and setting customers' stores. The Merchandiser reports directly to the Sales/Merchandising Manager overseeing the geographical area they service.

What You Will Do

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
• Providing excellent customer service
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at our customer locations
• Read planograms
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager when required
• Maintain safe store aisles
• Maintenance of assigned equipment
• Occasional overnight travel
• Reporting hours to division on provided time sheets

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6 + months of merchandising experience
• Experience reading & executing planograms
• Able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self -motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Driver's License
