Core-Mark is seeking a Merchandiser to service assigned stores, ensuring proper merchandising, pricing, shelf sets, and planogram execution across the Montana region. The role includes travel, overnight stays, and weekend time on the road, with weekly reporting of hours.

The position emphasizes customer service, accurate display maintenance, and coordination with the Sales/Merchandising Manager to support the distribution network in the U.S. and Canada.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months merchandising experience.
• Experience reading and executing planograms.
• Able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at customer locations.
• Read planograms and arrange store shelves as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems and report to Sales/Manager when required.
• Maintain safe store aisles and maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Occasional overnight travel and reporting hours on time sheets.

Position Details;

• This role requires TRAVEL - during the summer, you will be provided housing by Yellowstone Park (Monday - Friday) - and go home during the weekend
• The rest of the year you will travel throughout the state supporting the reset team (home on weekends),
• Pay is $20.00 per hour
• Cell phone reimbursement or company phone
• Personal car OR corporate car provided

A Brief Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for pricing and setting customers' stores. The Merchandiser reports directly to the Sales/Merchandising Manager overseeing the geographical area they service.

What you will do

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
• Providing excellent customer service
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at our customer locations
• Read planograms
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager when required
• Maintain safe store aisles
• Maintenance of assigned equipment
• Occasional overnight travel
• Reporting hours to division on provided time sheets
