Job summary

CSI Recruiting is assisting a Fort Worth-based oil company in hiring an experienced Reservoir Engineering Manager to lead development planning and economic evaluation for unconventional assets.

The role combines technical leadership with strategy, vendor coordination, and cross-department collaboration, with strong emphasis on economic analysis and project execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive exposure to unconventional resources, ideally having worked in multiple resource plays with a focus on the Permian.
• Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree required - Petroleum Engineering is preferred
• Well versed in economic modelling software (ARIES, ComboCurve)
• Experience utilizing information from multiple public data sources
• A minimum of 10 years of working as a reservoir engineer for an independent E&P company focused on unconventional assets in the Lower 48 in the US

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to solve complex problems.
• Evaluate and monitor well performances
• Generate production well forecasts
• Work closely with other departments
• Must have strong knowledge of economic evaluation and financial metrics.
• Improve efficiency in data analysis
• Support reserve estimates, forecast updates and coordination with independent reserve engineers
