Job summary

ExxonMobil seeks a Reservoir Engineer - Advanced to deliver independent reservoir support across asset development and operations for both new and mature fields. You will apply advanced reservoir engineering concepts, customize workflows, and mentor junior engineers.

The role operates within Technology Development and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify unmet needs in reservoir simulation and address them through innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering required or similar terminal degree.
• Proficiency in computational methods for reservoir simulation and fluid mechanics problems.
• Experience with PDE-based modeling and multi-disciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Apply reservoir engineering, computational, and data science methods to advance reservoir performance.
• Develop innovations for upstream and low-carbon business applications.
• Role based at the ExxonMobil campus in Spring, TX and collaborate with stakeholders.
