ExxonMobil’s Reservoir Engineer - Advanced role supports all stages of asset development, applying advanced reservoir engineering concepts, custom workflows, and mentoring junior engineers.

The position involves collaborating with business units as a SME in reservoir simulation, driving solutions across upstream and low-carbon programs, and engaging with academic and professional communities located at the Spring, Texas campus.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering (less than 3 years from graduation).
• Proven experience in reservoir simulation.
• Proficiency in computational and data science methods for solving reservoir simulation and fluid mechanics problems.
• Experience with computational methods for solving partial differential equations (PDE).
• Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, with strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply reservoir engineering, computational, and data science skills to innovate and predict reservoir performance.
• Develop innovations for upstream and low-carbon businesses to support strategic goals.
• Based at the ExxonMobil campus in Spring, Texas.
