Job summary

X4 Engineering seeks an Engineering Analyst to join the Reservoir Engineering team, building data systems and analytics at the intersection of reservoir engineering, data architecture, and analytics.

You will help design data architectures, develop dashboards, and support forecasting, economics, and development planning while collaborating with engineering, GIS, IT, and other teams to improve analytical workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of upstream oil & gas experience.
• Experience in reservoir engineering, production analytics, or technical data roles.
• Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Spotfire or Power BI.
• Experience with ComboCurve or similar forecasting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reservoir engineering data architecture and quality controls.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools using Spotfire or Power BI.
• Support production surveillance, forecasting, development planning, and A&D evaluations.
• Maintain forecasting databases and perform economic analyses.
• Collaborate with engineering, GIS, IT, and other technical teams to improve analytical workflows.
