Job summary

X4 Engineering seeks an Engineering Analyst to join the Reservoir Engineering team, building data systems and analytics at the intersection of reservoir engineering, data architecture, and analytics.

You will help design data architectures, develop dashboards, and support forecasting, economics, and development planning while collaborating with engineering, GIS, IT, and other teams to improve analytical workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of upstream oil & gas experience.
• Experience in reservoir engineering, production analytics, or technical data roles.
• Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Spotfire or Power BI.
• Experience with ComboCurve or similar forecasting software preferred.

A growing upstream oil & gas operator is seeking an Engineering Analyst to join its Reservoir Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems at the intersection of reservoir engineering, data architecture, and analytics.

In this role, you'll help build and maintain the data systems that support reservoir engineering decisions, working across production, reserves, economics, and third-party datasets to deliver reliable, defensible analyses.
