Job summary

The Dahill Group is seeking a Reservoir Engineering Data Analyst for a Texas-based E&P client. This role will own the data architecture for reservoir engineering, ensuring data integrity across production, reserves, economics, and third-party sources.

You will design automated quality checks and build dashboards to surface issues before downstream analysis. Hybrid role in Longview with a strong emphasis on data systems design, surveillance analytics, and development planning support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and upstream oil & gas experience.
• 3+ years in upstream oil & gas analytics or reservoir data roles.
• Proven data architecture or systems design experience.
• Strong Excel, SQL, and data visualization skills.
• Ability to trace anomalies and ensure data quality across sources.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the reservoir engineering function's data architecture and data flows.
• Own dashboards and reporting infrastructure for reservoir engineering.
• Support development planning with data prep, scenario execution, and analyses.
• Prepare economics and AFE analysis support with accurate data pipelines.
• Contribute to lookback analyses and continuous improvement of data workflows.
• Coordinate with IT and other data teams on integration points.
