Job summary

The Dahill Group seeks an Reservoir Engineering Data Analyst in Texas to own the data architecture for reservoir engineering, connecting production, reserves, economics, and third‑party datasets into an integrated foundation. You will design systems, ensure data quality, and build automated checks and visualizations.

You will maintain dashboards, support surveillance analytics, and contribute to development planning and AFE economics with robust data and scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, science or related field with upstream oil & gas experience.
• 3+ years in upstream oil & gas, reservoir analytics, or technical data roles.
• Experience designing or contributing to integrated data systems.
• Ability to trace anomalous results to sources and ensure data quality.
• Proficiency in Excel; working SQL; Spotfire or Power BI; forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reservoir data architecture and data flow between sources.
• Establish data integrity standards across production, reserves, economics, and third parties.
• Build automated quality checks and visualization tools to surface data issues.
• Own dashboards and reporting for reservoir engineering; support surveillance analyses.
• Assist in A&D, development planning, and economics with prepared data and scenarios.
• Maintain and update ComboCurve and related forecasting datasets.
