Job summary

National EMR seeks reservist registered nurses (LVN/LPN) to support incident response and community health efforts. Reservists may be deployed to various roles based on skills and incident needs.

Positions are not full-time; deployments may occur nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay is based on hours worked; readiness and availability are critical for rapid response across multiple emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited LVN/LPN program and hold current LVN/LPN license in state of residence.
• Compact license preferred.
• Two years of nursing experience; pediatric and adult nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to National EMR Policies and Procedures Manual, Uniform Handbook, and Operations Manual.
• Foster a culture of safety; report hazards to chain of command.
• Maintain active status in agency platforms and complete required training.
• Provide nursing care and health services consistent with regulatory authorities and program protocols.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding care standards and contagious disease control.
• Maintain medical records (written and electronic) and ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance.
• Document nursing activities accurately per policies and timelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinic leadership on best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in state of residence
