Job summary

National EMR is seeking reservist healthcare personnel who can deploy quickly to support incident response. The role encompasses clinical administration, documentation, and coordination with medical teams at designated sites.

Applicants must maintain active Medical Assistant certification and be eligible to work nationwide, with BLS required and ACLS/PALS preferred. Reservists are not full-time, may be deployed as needed, and will be paid for actual hours worked.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification required; must be eligible to work nationwide. BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional healthcare experience; one (1) year front office experience preferred.
• Must be eligible to work nationwide in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to National EMR Policies and Procedures Manual, Uniform Handbook, and Operations Manual.
• Foster a culture of safety, identify hazards, and report safety concerns to chain of command.
• Maintain active status within agency platforms and training systems for self-improvement and mission-specific training.
• Collect and ensure documentation for medical staff at designated sites to meet program guidelines and standards.
• Perform administrative duties of the clinic or designated site in accordance with National EMR policies.
• Administer medical services as prescribed by a provider, following best practice guidelines.
• Maintain documentation of activities in line with policy, contract, and regulatory timelines.
• Communicate with healthcare providers as a liaison between medical and residential services divisions.
• Maintain inventory of medications/supplies and ensure proper storage and disposal of expired meds.
• Maintain electronic medical records and ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance.
• Assist with distributing daily medical lists and transport patients to appointments.
• Support National EMR safety protocols and be prepared for evacuations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
