The Reservations Coordinator (Group Focus) is responsible for managing group room blocks accurately and in a timely manner. This includes ensuring the accuracy of room types and rates, cut-off dates, rooming lists, and payment options. The coordinator manages Passkey, activates booking links, and creates sell messages for individual booking groups. They collaborate closely with Sales and Event Planning Managers, as well as Meeting Planners, to address questions and fulfill requests related to group blocks. Additionally, the coordinator provides support to the Reservations Team by assisting with reservation calls, emails, and other tasks as needed.This position is on-site, and candidates must have the ability to work in person in Houston, TX
As a Reservations Coordinator (Group Focus) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with a keen attention to detail
· Excellent time management and follow-through
・ Outstanding customer service, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting strongly preferred
· Experience with Hyatt systems such as Opera, Envision, and Reserve is a plus
· This position is on-site - candidates must have the ability to work in person in Houston, TX
