Overview

This position is Remote. East Coast Required.

Join us for this incredible opportunity at Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals, located in Isle of Palms, South Carolina, to be part of our Reservations Team as a full-time Reservations Agent. Every guest’s unique stay experience begins with a customized and authentic reservations experience. The Reservation Sales Associate is critical to ensure each guest has an amazing stay by focusing on a personalized experience, accuracy of reservations, proactively communicating hotel information to the guest, and setting up the operations team for success.

Responsibilities
  1. Creating a personalized guest reservations experience by accurately inputting guest contact information and adding pertinent details such as previous stay experience, special occasions, and preferences.
  2. Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, accommodations, packages, promotions, spa treatments, daily availability, local events, directions, and general information.
  3. Answering all incoming calls promptly and professionally, adhering to brand standards.
  4. Upselling services and offerings appropriately to ensure guests are fully informed.
  5. Participating actively in training sessions.
  6. Achieving individual and team revenue and conversion goals monthly.
  7. Utilizing the Revinate lead management system to pursue outbound revenue opportunities.
  8. Assisting with Travel Agent requests, ensuring timely responses within Service Guidelines.
  9. Communicating effectively with team members about hotel updates and guest requests.
  10. Ensuring proper guest follow-up according to SOPs.
  11. Providing detailed notes in the lead management system and PMS to enhance guest experience.
  12. Assisting with group reservations and third-party reservation processes.
  13. Maintaining rate integrity aligned with revenue management strategies.
  14. Participating in reservations meetings and maintaining call compliance and reservation coding accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Previous reservation sales experience, including familiarity with Revinate.
  • Ability to travel to Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals 1-2 times per year.
  • Capacity to sit for long periods and work onsite when required.
  • Quiet, dedicated remote workspace free of distractions.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional, positive demeanor with strong customer service motivation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
  • Strong reading, comprehension, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Effective use of office equipment and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude and flexibility for remote work.
  • Bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to work daily.
