Overview

This position is Remote. East Coast Required.

Join us for this incredible opportunity at Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals, located in Isle of Palms, South Carolina, to be part of our Reservations Team as a full-time Reservations Agent. Every guest’s unique stay experience begins with a customized and authentic reservations experience. The Reservation Sales Associate is critical to ensure each guest has an amazing stay by focusing on a customized experience, accuracy of reservations, proactively communicating hotel information to the guest, and setting up the operations team for success.

Responsibilities

1. Creating a personalized guest reservations experience by accurately inputting guest contact information and adding details such as previous stay experience, special occasions, preferences, and other pertinent information.
2. Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, accommodations, packages, spa treatments, daily stats, local attractions, directions, and general information to assist guests effectively.
3. Handling incoming calls professionally and promptly, following hotel call quality and brand standards.
4. Upselling services and offerings appropriately, ensuring guests are fully informed about the resort’s amenities.
5. Participating in training and striving to meet monthly individual and team revenue and conversion goals.
6. Utilizing the Revinate lead management system to pursue outbound revenue opportunities.
7. Assisting with Travel Agent requests and ensuring timely communication within service guidelines.
8. Communicating effectively with team members regarding hotel information and guest requests.
9. Following up with guests in a timely manner, maintaining detailed notes in the lead management system and PMS.
10. Supporting group reservations and maintaining rate integrity according to revenue management strategies.
11. Attending reservations meetings and ensuring call compliance and proper reservation coding.

Qualifications

1. Previous reservation sales experience, including familiarity with Revinate.
2. Willingness to travel to Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals 1-2 times per year.
3. Ability to sit for long periods and work onsite as needed.
4. Quiet, dedicated remote workspace free of distractions.
5. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
6. High school diploma or equivalent.
7. Professional, positive demeanor with strong customer service motivation.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
9. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
10. Effective use of office equipment and organizational skills.
11. Team-oriented mindset and flexibility in assignments.
