Job summary

Corpay is hiring a Reservation Specialist for our Lodging division in Schaumburg, IL. You will handle inbound inquiries, source hotel needs for clients and their crew, and manage reservations across multiple systems. The role requires strong customer service, English fluency, and the ability to follow SOPs.

Onsite work with some travel to Florida may be required. You will receive formal training, a designated workspace in Schaumburg, and opportunities for growth within a collaborative team

Responsibilities

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Reservation Specialistwithin our Lodging division. This position falls under our CLC line of business and is located in Schaumburg, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient handling of inbound inquiries, to source hotel needs of clients and their crew. The Reservation Specialist will support the associated clients with a variety of different issue system related in an efficient and timely manner by taking ownership of each case from beginning to end; and will liaise with other departments to ensure swift and consistent problem resolution. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and regularly collaborate with the related teams/departments.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Receiving inbound inquiries to source hotel needs of clients for their crew and management
• Ensuring Reservations consistency and execution between multiple systems and channels utilized in the booking process
• Obtaining, evaluating, and providing accommodations and transportation according to client guideline, requirements and SOPs.
• Effectively utilizing all Customer Service tools and technology to process, track and report transaction
• Professionally responding to all clients and/or vendors and escalates issues, complaints or service disruptions according to procedures.
• Updating and maintaining company database with client transactions and sourcing inventories
• Providing continual feedback on customer service processes and
• Interacting with internal departments.
• Supporting other duties/projects as needed
• Required to travel to Florida when our client requests our staff to be present.
• 1 to 2 years of call center, reservation desk or similar experience preferred

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, night, weekends and national holidays
• High School Diploma or higher qualification is required
• One year experience of hotel/travel industry experience is preferred
• Fluent in English (required) and at least one more language (Italian, German, French, Spanish is preferred

Pay Transparency

The expected hourly range for this position is $17.00-$18.27, based on the candidate’s work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process.
