Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 in the Lake Tahoe area for seasonal roles including Reservation Agents and more. Work in the mountains, earn competitive pay, and receive free ski passes and lessons, plus discounts and Epic Service training to support your development.

Roles involve handling ski & ride reservations with high guest service standards, and coordinating with Heavenly, Kirkwood and Northstar teams. Applications are rolling until December 15 or until filled.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
• Patient, empathetic attitude and guest-focused service.
• Comfortable working on phone and computer for long periods.
• Basic computer skills to operate systems.
• Able to work weekends/holidays; at least 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed information for Ski & Ride School products with 100% accuracy.
• Process reservations, changes and cancellations efficiently.
• Make suitable product recommendations to meet guest needs.
• Handle high volumes of guest interaction with exceptional service.
• Communicate clearly with guests to set lesson expectations.
• Coordinate with SRS partners on requests and changes.
• Monitor SRS email inboxes and respond promptly to questions.
• Assist with processing lessons and check-in at Heavenly base locations.
• Perform other duties as required.

The Tahoe Regional Contact Center Reservation Agent handles multiple calls for ski & ride school, provides high level customer service, and books & updates ski & ride school lesson reservations for our Heavenly, Kirkwood and Northstar resorts.

Job Responsibilities

• Be able to provide detailed information for all Ski & Ride School products with 100% accuracy
• Efficiently and accurately process ski & ride school reservations, changes and cancellations
• Make suitable product recommendations to meet guest needs and business objectives
• Handle high volumes of customer interaction while delivering exceptional service
• Communicate clearly and concisely with guests to set appropriate lesson expectations
• Coordinate with SRS partners on lesson requests & changes and to resolve guest concerns in a timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain SRS email inboxes, providing timely responses to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
• Assist with processing lessons and lesson check-in at Heavenly's base locations
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements & Skills

• Strong communication, both verbal and written
• Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills
• A patient and empathetic attitude
• Able to work on the phone and computer for long periods of time
• Prior knowledge of computer basics
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; minimum availability of 3 days a week required

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Point of sales experience
• Knowledge of all ski and ride school products, as well as a general knowledge of our Heavenly, Kirkwood or Northstar resorts
• A second language is a plus
• Love of skiing or snowboarding

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
