Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter seasonal positions across Ski & Ride School operations. Roles include ski and snowboard support, guest services, and lesson-related operations.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $31.00 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to a high-energy team and enjoy employee passes and discounts. Seasonal staff engage with guests, assist in rental operations and check-in/out, and support lesson activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, service-based environment.
• Fluent in English language.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills with guests and employees.
• Strong computer skills, typing, and data entry preferred.
• Ski or snowboarding experience to assist lessons preferred.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Daily reservation and sales processing on resort operating systems.
• Daily setup and teardown of indoor facilities and work areas, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Ensure health code compliance in facilities and common areas.
• Maintain a clean and orderly facility to accommodate high guest flow.
• Work with children to facilitate games and activities.
• Wear snow sports helmet while skiing or assisting lessons in uniform.
• Uphold safety standards and contribute to Health and Safety culture.

Ski School Support Staff employees work in afunhigh paced indoor/outdoor environment supporting all functions of ski/snowboard school operations outside of instruction. The role has high guest interaction supporting children's programming, rental operations, guest check-in/out, lesson scanning, and lesson area lift operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Daily reservation and sales processing on our resort operating systems.

Daily set up and teardown ofindoor facilities, including work areas, with an emphasison attention todetail to present an area that is clean, orderly, welcoming, and conducive tooperatingefficiently.

Understanding of, and compliance with,statedpolicies/procedures relevant to health code compliance for facility cleanliness, includingcommon areas, toys, equipment, etc.

Ability to keep andmaintaina clean and orderly facility that accommodates daily high-volume guest flow.

Working with small children tofacilitateappropriate gamesand activities in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Adhere to strict corporate policyregardingwearing a snow sports specific helmet while skiing/riding, orassistinglessons, in uniform.

Understand, lead,and modelsafetystandards within the department for yourself and others; contribute to our culture of Health and Safety to meet Zero Workman's Comp safetygoal.

Perform other duties as assigned bytheSupervisor.

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr - $31.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
