The Stewart Laboratory in Penn State's Department of Biology is seeking a Research Technologist of Life Sciences (Senior Professional) to support research on fishes.
The candidate will manage lab supplies, oversee fish colonies, contribute to research projects, assist with safety protocols, evaluate research methods, advise on methodology, collect and analyze data, and train students and postdocs.
Work will primarily be in the lab and animal facility. Occasional weekend and holiday work may be required with time off during the week. Flexibility is essential.
The candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and with a team, good interpersonal skills, and clear communication.
