Title: Americas Regulatory Data Steward

Location: Guarulhos/SP, Brazil or Mexico

Position Overview

The Americas Regulatory Data Steward manages regulatory data related to raw materials and ingredients to ensure compliance with global and regional regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate substance records, supporting internal systems like SAP, coordinating with suppliers for documentation, monitoring regulatory changes, and assessing their impact on products and applications. Collaboration with global regulatory, R&D, Sourcing, and EHS teams is essential to drive compliance and continuous improvement. The role also involves developing efficient data management processes and resolving regulatory holds within the Americas region.

Primary Responsibilities

This role involves regulatory activities such as:

  • Managing requests related to raw materials and ingredient pools in the Americas.
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining substances, raw materials, and ingredient pools.
  • Requesting and organizing data from raw material suppliers to support global regulations.
  • Monitoring and interpreting global regulations to assess their impact on substances, raw materials, formulated materials, customer applications, and end-use products.
  • Supporting internal product lifecycle management systems to ensure regulatory compliance during updates and maintenance.
  • Reporting industry and government news relevant to chemical regulations and application trends.
  • Developing relationships with global regulatory, R&D, Sourcing, and EHS colleagues for collaborative efforts.
  • Implementing and innovating efficient regulatory data management processes to improve response times.
  • Managing Regholds within the Americas region.
  • Supporting SAP implementations and dual maintenance.
  • Monitoring KPIs, analyzing performance, and establishing actions to meet process objectives.
  • Adhering to H.B. Fuller’s Ethics, Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Advanced communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in Regulatory and/or R&D functions.
  • Experience with SAP applications.
