Job summary

The Sabnis lab at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago conducts translational cancer research focused on sarcomas in children and young adults.

The role involves 40 hours per week with 20% admin duties (ordering, databases, training) and 80% bench work (tissue culture, mice care, data presentation, and manuscript writing). Reporting to Amit Sabnis, Associate Professor, you will design and troubleshoot experiments, work both independently and collaboratively, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: Biomedical Science (Required)
• Strong laboratory training and ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent command of English and good organizational skills
• Experience handling administrative tasks and bench research

Responsibilities

• Follow predefined protocols and quality practices; perform standard experiments and troubleshoot.
• Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and materials.
• Perform molecular biology, cellular biology, immunology, or animal work and assays (ELISA, Western blot, PCR, etc.).
• Record results, manage databases, and assist with data analysis and manuscript preparation.
