University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix is seeking a Research Technician I (Part-Time) in the Translational Cardiovascular Research Center (TCRC) – Phoenix. The role supports histology, immunostaining, mouse handling, image acquisition, and data documentation under senior staff guidance.
The position offers hands-on learning in molecular techniques (RNA/qPCR, protein extraction, Western blotting) and collaboration with postdocs and scientists.
The laboratory of Dr. Lya Yin of the Translational Cardiovascular Research Center (TCRC) at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix is seeking a highly motivated Research Technician I. This position will provide the oportunity to learn skills needed to aid in research projects by performing a variety of laboratory tasks and experiments. Guided by the instruction from Dr. Yin and other senior lab personnel, the Research Technician I will gain knowledge to manage mouse colonies, perform histology and immunostaining, acquire and analyze fluorescent and micro-CT images, and other tasks if needed.
