Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of two years of college or specialized training in histology, medical technology or relevant field, or high school diploma with sciences.
• At least 1 year of experience as Laboratory Technical Assistant or 3 years with HS diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting experiments and research problems in physiology, bacteriology, tissue culture, chemistry and related fields.
• Assemble and operate laboratory equipment and apparatus.
• Record data and discuss results with supervisor; modify procedures as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
