Compensation Range

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual salaries will be set within this range based on various factors including experience and education.

Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Provides routine technical support for a research lab or facility. Collects, analyzes, and processes laboratory samples or research data. Performs a variety of tests, assists in report writing, sets up equipment, and collaborates on new project designs.

Essential Functions

• Participate in ongoing clinical experiments under Dr. Hernandez's guidance, aiming to develop skills for manuscript submission.
• Handle animals, assist in surgeries, and collect and prepare samples post-surgery.
• Perform molecular biology techniques such as Western Blotting and RT-qPCR, and work with histology and immunohistochemistry.
• Assist in lab maintenance and housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Health Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare or academic setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• On-the-job training provided.
• Previous lab experience preferred.
