A leading company is looking for a laboratory technician to work in a lab setting. The role involves conducting scientific experiments, analyzing data, and producing reports. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent lab experience. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401K plans.
Work hours – 8am to 5pm (Mon to Fri)
This position will be working in a lab setting not working in the plant.
Testing includes the use of analytical equipment and applications testing in the area of precipitated silica. Scientific experiments includes some synthesis of silicas and functionalized silicas.
REQUIREMENTS
University degree in a science related field or high school/ Associate degree with
3 years laboratory experience
Sound experience and understanding of straightforward laboratory procedures or systems.
Basic experience of working in a chemistry laboratory ..
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out a range of research activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.
Conduct scientific experiments and tests and contribute to the translation of results into practical applications.
Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
Develop testing standards and procedures under the direction of professional colleagues.
Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
