Qualifications

• Experience with multitask management and troubleshooting in a lab setting.
• Ability to develop and execute in vitro and in vivo experiments and analyses.
• Familiarity with histology, molecular biology techniques, and imaging.
• Interest in learning new lab techniques and following instructions.
• Prior animal work is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mammalian cell culture and related assays.
• Perform DNA/RNA extraction and PCR; protein detection and quantification.
• Investigate cell signaling via immunofluorescence, western blotting, ELISA.
• Maintain and manage mouse and ferret colonies, genotyping and harvests.
• Prepare histology samples and conduct microscopy imaging (brightfield, confocal, TEM).
• Run flow cytometry analyses and immune profiling.
• Assist with administrative tasks, purchasing, inventory, and protocol submissions.
• Train and supervise new technicians and students.
