Qualifications

  • Requires an associate's degree or two years formal training in a biomedical science or related field and at least three years of experience directly related to research or the program.
  • Experience working in a research laboratory and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to troubleshoot laboratory protocols.
  • Experience with animals.
  • Tissue culture skills.
  • Histology sample preparation and microscopy imaging.
  • Experience in molecular biology: immunoblotting, DNA/RNA extraction and PCR.
  • Highly self-disciplined.
  • Proficient in Graphpad Prism, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic imaging software (ImageJ, QuPath).

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple detail‑oriented tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and execute in vitro and in vivo experiments, histological processing and imaging, molecular biology techniques.
  • Perform administrative tasks and documentation, lab organization and purchasing.
  • Train and supervise new technicians and students.
  • Experience with statistical software Graphpad Prism.
