The candidate will perform in vitro and in vivo experiments, histology, imaging, molecular biology assays, and assist with administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate’s degree or two years formal training in a biomedical science or related field with at least three years of related research experience.
• Experience working in a research laboratory and ability to work independently.
• Ability to troubleshoot laboratory protocols and work with animals.
• Tissue culture, histology prep, and microscopy imaging.
• Molecular biology techniques including immunoblotting, DNA/RNA extraction and PCR.
• Highly self-disciplined and proficient in basic software (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Proficient in GraphPad Prism for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Mammalian cell culture and maintenance.
• DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and molecular assays.
• Protein detection and signaling studies (immunofluorescence, Western blot, ELISA).
• Animal handling: mice/farm animals, breeding, genotyping, and sample harvesting.
