The State University of New York at Buffalo is seeking a laboratory Research Support Specialist to support the Clinical Pharmacology Quality Assurance Laboratory Program. The candidate will utilize laboratory methods, maintain equipment, and ensure regulatory compliance.
This role requires a Baccalaureate degree in a related field and at least one year of laboratory experience. The salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $65,000, and the work hours are Monday through Friday.
The University at Buffalo’s Center for Integrated Global Biomedical Sciences (CIGBS) is seeking a laboratory Research Support Specialist to support the Clinical Pharmacology Quality Assurance (CPQA) Laboratory Program. In this position, the individual will employ laboratory methods such as liquid chromatography with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry, assure sample collection and storage parameters, and ensure regulatory requirements are followed.
Requires wearing and working in personal protective equipment, handling chemical, biological, and other hazardous materials in BSL‑2 laboratories. Must lift or carry a minimum of 25 lbs and be able to stand, sit, bend, reach, kneel, walk, and adjust focus. Successful candidates must pass a color vision test.
This position does not involve driving a university‑owned vehicle.
$55,000 – $65,000.
Monday – Friday.
