Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced clinical research leader to manage safe care delivery, oversee day-to-day operations of the research team, and drive performance through staff development. You will coordinate with operations, study intake, and partners to ensure timely study start-up and compliant protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Field of Study: Healthcare Administration, Research, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical research; 5+ years with people management preferred.
• SOCRA CCRP or ACRP CCRC preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.

• Supervises day-to-day activities of the clinical research team, including productivity and staffing schedules.
• Leads Talent Acquisition, team development, and performance management of research staff.
• Serves as a service line expert and resource for the research team, addressing barriers in day-to-day operations.
• Builds and maintains supportive relationships with each team member through regular rounding and scheduled connections.
• Ensures teams maintain adequate inventory levels, orders equipment and supplies, and maintains clinical supply areas.
• Collaborates with operations manager, study intake, research services, and external partners for start-up and transitions.
• Monitors and evaluates the quality and safety of clinical operations.
• Develops and maintains SOPs and ensures compliance.
• Provides guidance, education, training, and mentorship for study team growth.
• Delivers effective clinical study coordination across protocols.
• Supports preceptorship of new team members and coordinates with the Operational Manager.

Job Description:

• Provides guidance, education, specialized training, and mentorship to promote growth for study team members.
• Delivers effective and compliant clinical research study coordination, including planning, organizing, and managing all activities related to clinical research protocols.
• Serves in a supportive role for the preceptorship of new team members, monitoring their progress and providing open communication to the Operational Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• in Healthcare Administration, Research, or related field

Work Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in clinical research [Required]
• 5+ clinical research experience with increasing people management responsibilities [Preferred]

Additional Information:

• An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement.
• Bachelors Degree AND 2+ years of experience in clinical research OR
• Associates Degree AND 4+ years of experience in clinical research or related field.

Licenses and Certifications:

• SOCRA Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) [Preferred] OR ACRP Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) [Preferred]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]
