Job summary

Texas A&M University is seeking a Research Security Coordinator in College Station to support compliance across research activities. The role partners with faculty, staff, and students to navigate export controls, conflicts of interest, and research security requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in higher education research compliance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build effective partnerships while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of related experience.
• Experience with TAMUS internal systems preferred.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain professional working relationships.
• Experience with export control and/or research security regulations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with faculty, staff, and students on protocol compliance and approvals.
• Review protocols for compliance and provide guidance to customers.
• Coordinate committee meetings and maintain regulatory language.
• Assist with export controls reviews and training monitoring.
