Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a Research Scientist Intern to pioneer the next generation of Enterprise Agentic Solutions and Self-Evolving AI Agents. You will design, evaluate, and deploy autonomous agents using restricted datasets to offload routine workflows in engineering, DevOps, and product growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong implementation skills in Python and a system-level language (Rust, C++, or Go).
• Experience with AI, ML, or automated software engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in self-improving agents and multi-agent systems.
• Formulate new research ideas, design methodologies, and lead papers for AI/ML conferences.
• Investigate agentic self-evolution using restricted datasets, focusing on data safety and memory optimization.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure operational impact like runtime efficiency and cost offloading.
