Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a Research Scientist to join the Epidemiology of Aging Studies in ESKD (EASE) Lab within CSTAR. You will collaborate with Principal Investigators and contribute to study design, analysis, and dissemination of findings.

The role involves conducting statistical analyses on diverse data sources (Epic, Cosmos, SRTR, USRDS, CMS claims), mentoring junior staff, and helping prepare manuscripts and grant applications.

Qualifications

• MS degree with 2–4 years of research experience.
• Experience with epidemiology, biostatistics, or health services research.
• Proficiency in handling SRTR, USRDS, CMS claims data.
• Strong peer‑reviewed publication record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PIs and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement studies.
• Independently conduct statistical analyses and interpret results.
• Mentor junior personnel and contribute to manuscripts and grant applications.
• Coordinate research activities across multiple projects.
• Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Stay current with advances in epidemiology and biostatistics.
