Job summary

Metron’s Reston office is seeking candidates to develop mathematical models and algorithms, demonstrate prototype software, and engage in operational analysis for security-focused solutions.

We work with mathematicians, physicists and computer scientists, applying stochastic processes, AI/ML, and optimization to deliver results for clients while interacting with customers and gathering requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, math, physics, engineering or OR.
• Programming in Java, C, C++, MATLAB, Mathematica and/or Python.
• Modeling, simulation, signal processing, AI/ML or physical modeling in uncertain environments.
• US Citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop mathematical models and algorithms for research and client needs.
• Interact with customers, gather requirements, present briefings, and contribute to Metron tools.
