Job summary

IQVIA in Irving, TX seeks a Scheduler to coordinate routine and non-routine medical services with local providers for a defined patient population. The role blends appointment scheduling with receptionist and clerical duties in outpatient or inpatient settings.

You will confirm on-site and off-site appointments, manage front desk operations, handle calls, and maintain patient and physician data while delivering excellent customer service within a mission-driven team at IQVIA's IDS group.

Qualifications

• Three years of medical clinic administrative or scheduling experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience coordinating appointments and patient information is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Daily confirmation of all on-site clinic and off-site appointments.
• Receive, screen and coordinate telephone calls from healthcare providers.
• Assist with maintaining and updating all provider addresses and phone numbers.
• Receive incoming correspondence and review/forward to appropriate staff.
• Perform a variety of administrative duties including but not limited to answering phones; faxing and filing of confidential documents; and basic Internet and email utilization.
• Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Obtain patient information at the time of admission and assist in filling out forms, relevant documents, and case histories.
• Make and distribute daily schedules for doctors and staff.
• Maintain and update physician and patient data.
• Manage the front desk operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $25,900.00 - $64,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
