Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Recruitment Advisor II - National Clinical Research/National Life Sciences at Medix | I hire Clinical Research professionals across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and other locations.

Preferred Location: Austin, TX or surrounding area

About the Role

We’re seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to support our client's growing business development and marketing efforts within the life sciences sector. This dynamic role involves coordinating sales operations, managing marketing initiatives, and representing the company at industry events. You’ll work closely with the Vice President and collaborate across the leadership team to help drive growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales & Business Development
  • Support outreach and follow-up for potential clients including Sponsors, CROs, and Sites.
  • Maintain accurate records of RFPs, proposals, outcomes, and follow-up activities.
  • Assist in the development of client-facing materials such as pitch decks, case studies, and cost summaries.
  • Coordinate meeting requests and outreach for industry conferences.
  • Research industry trends and share insights with the business development team.
  • Manage CRM data and generate regular reports on sales activity.
  • Marketing
    • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Support content development and publishing across platforms (LinkedIn, website, email campaigns).
    • Track and report performance metrics for marketing initiatives.
    • Help maintain marketing SOPs and documentation.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a Life Sciences field with relevant experience.
    • 1–2 years of experience in the clinical research industry (Site, CRO, Sponsor, or Patient Recruitment Vendor).
    • Familiarity with sales operations and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
    • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
    • Comfortable with outbound outreach (email, phone).
    • Knowledge of SEO and social media marketing is a plus.
  • Travel Requirements
  • This is a 100% remote position with up to 50% travel. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Austin, TX.
